What's wrong

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2021 NC750XD motorcycles equipped with 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmissions. The fuel injection control module software may be programmed incorrectly, which can result in insufficient fuel when stopping, or accelerating from a stop.

The risk

Insufficient fuel can cause a stall, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

The fix

Dealers will reprogram the fuel injection and dual clutch transmission software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 10, 2022. Owners may contact Honda Powersports customer service at 866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KN0.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
