Steering › Linkages › Tie Rod Assembly — Entegra, Jayco · reported 2 Feb 2022 · 28 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Entegra Coach Accolade, Accolade XL, Jayco Seneca, and Seneca Prestige Class C motorhomes. The tie rod clamps may be loose, which could result in loose tie rod ends that could break or detach.

The risk

Detached or broken tie rod ends can result in steering loss, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Daimler Truck dealers will replace the tie rod clamp bolts and nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 15, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 21V-369.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
