Recall 22V120000
Fuel System, Diesel › Fuel Injection System › Fuel Rail — Aebi-schmidt · reported 2 Mar 2022 · 1 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
AEBI-Schmidt (AEBI) is recalling one 2019 MB3 vehicle. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high pressure fuel leak.
The risk
A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix
Cummins' dealers will replace the fuel tubes, and install vibration isolators, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 7, 2022. Owners may contact AEBI's customer service at 1-920-898-1035.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
