Exterior Lighting › Hazard Flashing Warning Lights — Autocar · reported 15 Apr 2022 · 908 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Xpeditor (ACX) vehicles. The hazard lights will not function when the ignition is off. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The risk

Inoperable hazard lights increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will repair or replace the wire harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 13, 2022. Owners may contact Autocar's customer service at 1-888-218-3611 or 1-877-973-3486. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2202.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
