Recall 22V266000 · manufacturer campaign CA#10091-1

Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer — Triple E Rv · reported 19 Apr 2022 · 119 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Wonder W24RL recreational vehicles. The weight decal installed on the front driver-side baggage compartment door states an incorrect weight of 500 lbs, which exceeds the weight limit for the storage compartment.

The risk

Overloading the storage compartment can allow items to fall onto the roadway, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will provide a new corrected weight decal, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in April 27, 2022. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E's number for this recall is CA#10090-1.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
