What's wrong

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Vision school buses. The fuel supply line was incorrectly routed, allowing it to chafe against a bolt head, which can damage the line and create a fuel leak.

The risk

A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will reroute the fuel line, and replace the fuel line if any damage is found, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 21, 2022. Owners may contact Blue Bird's customer service at 1-478-822-2242. Blue Bird's number for this recall is R22BU-SB.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
