Recall 22V318000

Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer › Lpg Systems › Lines And Fittings — Braxton Creek · reported 10 May 2022 · 4,384 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Braxton Creek RV (Braxton) is recalling certain 2022 Bushwhacker, Bushwhacker Plus and Free Solo travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

The risk

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will install a plug in place of the quick disconnect, and replace the quick disconnect when available, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 16, 2022. Owners may contact Braxton Creek customer service at 1-260-768-7932.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
