What's wrong

Bigfoot Industries, Inc. (Bigfoot) is recalling certain 2022 Bigfoot RV 25B17FB travel trailers, equipped with certain 2-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.

The risk

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Bigfoot will work with Dometic, to replace the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2022. Owners may contact Bigfoot customer service at 1-250-546-2155.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
