Recall 22V393000
Equipment › Appliance › Oven/stove/cooktop — Winnebago · reported 2 Jun 2022 · 56 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020 ERA motorhomes, equipped with certain 2-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.
The risk
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix
Winnebago will work with Dometic to replace the cooktops, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 28, 2022. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885 or Dometic customer service at 888-943-4905.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
