Recall 22V474000

Power Train › Axle Hubs — Oliver Travel Trailers · reported 1 Jul 2022 · 13 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Oliver Travel Trailers, Inc. (Oliver) is recalling certain 2022 Legacy Elite II travel trailers. The 42mm cartridge bearing washer within the hub assembly may crack, causing the hub to separate from the axle wheel end.

The risk

Hub separation from the wheel end may cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will replace the 42mm cartridge bearing washer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in July 29, 2022. Owners may contact Oliver customer service at 1-866-205-2621.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
