Recall 22V529000
Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer › Lpg Systems › Lines And Fittings — Ember · reported 22 Jul 2022 · 145 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC (Ember) is recalling certain 2022 Overland series trailers, model numbers 191MDB, 190MDB, 170MBH, and 170MRB. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.
The risk
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix
Dealers will replace the LP quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 5, 2022. Owners may contact Ember's customer service at 1-844-732-4204.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
