Recall 22V561000

Steering — E-one · reported 1 Aug 2022 · 7 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Cyclone N and Typhoon N vehicles. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly, which can cause the gears to fracture.

The risk

A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gears, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2022. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-237-1122.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
