Recall 22V587000

Equipment › Other › Labels — Bwise · reported 5 Aug 2022 · 76 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Bwise Manufacturing (Bwise) is recalling certain 2021-2023 EA10-10 and EA10-12 All Access trailers. The GAWR of the trailer was incorrectly labeled at 4,995 lbs. and should be labeled 6,000lbs. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part number 567, "Certification."

The risk

An incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will mail new labels and instructions on how to replace it, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 6, 2022. Owners may contact Bwise's customer service at 1-717-261-0922.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
