Recall 22V668000 · manufacturer campaign 22-435
Electrical System › Wiring › Switches/knobs/buttons — Dutchmen · reported 6 Sep 2022 · 536 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2023 Dutchmen Aspen Trail, Coleman, and Kodiak travel trailers. The switch for the electric stabilizer jacks may not be waterproof from the back side of the switch, which can result in an electrical short.
The risk
An electrical short can cause the stabilizer jacks to extend during transit, increasing the risk of crash or injury.
The fix
Dealers will replace the jack switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 27, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-435.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
