What's wrong

KZRV, L.P. (KZRV) is recalling certain 2023 Durango travel trailers. The living room slide out window may be missing the emergency exit.

The risk

A missing emergency exit window may delay occupants from exiting the trailer during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and install an emergency exit as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 2, 2022. Owners may contact KZRV customer service at 1-800-768-4016 ext. 154 or 153. KZRV's number for this recall is KZ-2022-05.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
