Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer — Old School Trailers · reported 5 Dec 2022 · 16 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Old School Trailers, LLC (Old School Trailers) is recalling certain 2022 Old School Trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

The risk

An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

The fix

The remedy is still under development. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 21, 2022. Owners may contact Old School Trailers customer service at 1-574-596-4828.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
