Equipment › Appliance › Oven/stove/cooktop — Coachmen · reported 9 Feb 2023 · 12 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2023 Coachmen Beyond, and 2023 Nova motorhomes, equipped with SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops with part numbers 3031AST and 3032AST. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.

The risk

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will install a regulator support bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-6307. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1601.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
