Recall 23V141000 · manufacturer campaign 400-1605

Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer › Plumbing › Potable Water › Storage Tank — Palomino · reported 3 Mar 2023 · 272 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Palomino Solaire 320TSBH travel trailers. These vehicles may be missing the rearward and forward supports for the freshwater tank, which may cause the tank to become dislodged.

The risk

A dislodged tank may fall to the ground while in transit and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will install rearward and forward supports for the freshwater tank, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 21, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-269-432-3271. Forest River's number for this recall is 400-1605.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
