What's wrong

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2022 Entegra Coach Qwest motorhomes. The wiring harnesses for the swivel-seats may have been incorrectly installed and may become damaged, which can cause the front side air bags not to deploy as intended.

The risk

An air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect the installation of the wiring harness and will attach it properly to the seat base, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 27, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is MB 23V-101.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
