Tires — Mercedes-benz · reported 31 Mar 2023 · 3 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2023 AMG CLA 45 vehicles. The tires may leak air.

The risk

A sudden loss of air pressure from a tire may cause a loss of vehicle control while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2023. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6373. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2023040004.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
