Recall 23V274000

Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer — Airstream · reported 18 Apr 2023 · 142 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023 Rangeline motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the fuel filter and Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured, which can cause a gas leak.

The risk

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 16, 2023. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
