Recall 23V304000

Electrical System › Instrument Cluster/panel — Lordstown · reported 27 Apr 2023 · 5 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Lordstown EV Corp (Lordstown) is recalling certain 2023 Endurance vehicles. The instrument cluster display screen may freeze on initial startup and not display critical safety information.

The risk

The loss of display information, such as the speedometer and warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2023. Owners may contact Lordstown customer service at 1-248-522-9100.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
