Recall 23V408000 · manufacturer campaign 2023-01

Equipment › Appliance › Oven/stove/cooktop — L'air Camper · reported 6 Jun 2023 · 25 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Imagine Fiberglass Products Inc. (IFP) is recalling certain 2021-2023 L'Air Trillium Heritage 1300/4500, and Lion 1300/4500 travel trailers, equipped with certain SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops with part number 3032AST. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.

The risk

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will install a regulator support bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in June 15, 2023. Owners may contact IFP customer service at 1-519-804-8751. IFP's number for this recall is 2023-01.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
