Recall 23V483000

Fuel System, Gasoline › Delivery › Hoses, Lines/piping, And Fittings — Mvt-900a · reported 13 Jul 2023 · 4 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Industrial Video & Control Co (IV & C) is recalling certain 2021 MVT-900A MVT-3001-G surveillance trailers, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.

The risk

A gasoline leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of fire.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2023. Owners may contact IV & C customer service at 1-617-467-3059.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
