Recall 23V728000 · manufacturer campaign 180

Seats › Critical Fasteners — Winnebago · reported 27 Oct 2023 · 280 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2024 Solis motorhomes. The fasteners that secure the sliding seat in the extended position are missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

The risk

Missing fasteners may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will install the missing fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 180.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
