Recall 24V049000 · manufacturer campaign TIF-136

Equipment › Electrical › Accessory Generator › Solar Panel — Tiffin · reported 26 Jan 2024 · 67 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Convoy and GH-1 motorhomes. The bracket that secures the solar panel to the roof may crack and break, which can cause the solar panel to detach.

The risk

A detached solar panel can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will replace the brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 21, 2024. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-136.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
