Structure › Frame And Members — Triumph · reported 14 Feb 2024 · 107 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Triumph Motorcycles America, Ltd. (Triumph) is recalling certain 2023 Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660 motorcycles. Due to incorrectly machined threads, the front fork caps may strip and detach from the fork outer tube.

The risk

Front fork cap detachment can result in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will replace the fork caps, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2024. Owners may contact Triumph customer service at 1-678-854-2010. Triumph's number for this recall is SRAN 617.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
