Steering — Entegra · reported 29 Feb 2024 · 286 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Entegra Coach Anthem and Cornerstone motorhomes. The steering gear may have foreign material inside the gear that could build pressure within the system, resulting in a loss of power steering assist.

The risk

A sudden loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will remove and replace the steering gear, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is Shyft Group 24V-052.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
