Recall 24V211000

Equipment › Other › Labels — Titan Bus · reported 19 Mar 2024 · 6 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Titan Bus is recalling certain 2018-2021 Chevrolet CG33503 and 3500 Express Cutaway vehicles. The federal certification placard may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 110, "Tire Selection and Rims" and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

The risk

A missing federal certification placard may result in unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will mail the federal certification placard to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024. Owners may contact Titian Bus customer service at 1-419-523-3593.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
