What's wrong

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2020-2024 LFS vehicles. The engine coolant return hose may fail, leaking coolant and causing an engine shutdown.

The risk

An unexpected engine shutdown can increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, transferring passengers from the disabled bus can increase the risk of injury.

The fix

Nova Bus will replace the engine coolant return hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 03, 2024. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus number for this recall is CR5577.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
