Equipment › Appliance › Oven/stove/cooktop — Winnebago · reported 23 Apr 2024 · 13,117 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Winnebago Towable (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Voyage, Micro Minnie, Micro Minnie FLX, Hike 200 and Minnie travel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
The risk
A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
The fix
Dealers will replace the cooktop control panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280 ext. 5220. Winnebago's number for this recall is CAM0000035. This recall supersedes NHTSA recall 24V-054.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
