Recall 24V342000

Fuel System, Gasoline › Delivery › Hoses, Lines/piping, And Fittings — Morbark · reported 15 May 2024 · 26 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Alamo Group Inc. (Morbark) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Morbark EB1821, EB2131, and EB1922 brush chippers. The fuel lines that provide fuel to the engine may not have the necessary pressure rating of 58 pounds per square inch (PSI).

The risk

An engine fuel line rated below the necessary pressure rating may burst and leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will replace the engine fuel lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 9, 2024. Owners may contact Morbark's customer service at 1-800-255-8839.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
