Electrical System › Wiring › Fuses And Circuit Breakers — Thor Motor Coach · reported 11 Jun 2024 · 11 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2025 Thor Tranquility and Sanctuary motorhomes. A 50 AMP circuit breaker was incorrectly installed when a 20 AMP breaker is required, which can result in overheated wiring.

The risk

Wiring that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will install a 20 AMP circuit breaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 29, 2024. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020. TMC's number for this recall is RC000305.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
