What's wrong

Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022-2023 TM vehicles. The master leveling controller may lose the ability to level the platform if power is lost while squeezing the enable trigger.

The risk

A platform that cannot maintain a level position increases the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will reprogram or replace the leveling controller, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 1, 2024. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN728.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
