Recall 24V469000

Equipment › Electrical — Bigfoot · reported 21 Jun 2024 · 67 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Bigfoot Industries, Inc. (Bigfoot) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Bigfoot B25RQ travel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

The risk

A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 11, 2024. Owners may contact Bigfoot customer service at 1-250-546-2155.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
