What's wrong

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2024 ACX (Xpeditor). The retaining ring could be missing from the cab tilt hinge pin, leaving the pin unsecured.

The risk

An unsecured pin can separate from the vehicle and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect the cab tilt pin and replace the retaining ring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2024. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACX-2403.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
