Wheels › Lugs/nuts/bolts/studs — Doosan · reported 2 Aug 2024 · 127 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. (Doosan) is recalling certain 2023 Bobcat PA185, and C185WD0-T4F portable compressor trailers. The wheel lug nuts may be improperly tightened.
The risk
Improperly tightened lug nuts may allow the wheels to detach, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Owners are advised not to tow their trailers until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will tighten the wheel lug nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2024. Owners may contact Doosan customer service at 1-800-633-5206. Doosan's number for this recall is 5-24-10.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
