Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer › Lpg Systems › Lines And Fittings — Triple E · reported 12 Aug 2024 · 7 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain 2024 Triple E Unity U24RL, U24TB, U24FX, and U24MBL motorhomes. The RVMP generator propane hose may be incorrectly routed too close to the generator exhaust, which can result in a fuel leak.

The risk

A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

The fix

Dealers will reroute the propane line and install a heat shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 21, 2024. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-204-325-4361. Triple E's number for this recall is CA#10584-1.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
