Recall 24V646000

Structure › Frame And Members — E-one · reported 30 Aug 2024 · 28 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, 2022-2024 Cyclone N, and Typhoon N vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.

The risk

A damaged cooling fan can result in an engine stall while driving and increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and repair the crossmember as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 24, 2024. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-237-1122.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
