What's wrong

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2025 Jay Feather Air travel trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

The risk

An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will install new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 23, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco Customer Service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901613.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
