Recall 24V780000 · manufacturer campaign 2024100014
Tires › Sidewall — Mercedes-benz · reported 18 Oct 2024 · 416 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2025 GLB 250, GLB 250 4MATIC, and GLB 35 4MATIC vehicles. The right-side front and rear tires may have sidewall damage, which can result in a sudden loss of tire pressure.
The risk
A sudden loss of tire pressure can result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will inspect and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 22, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2024100014.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
