Recall 24V828000 · manufacturer campaign KZ-2024-001

Equipment › Recreational Vehicle/trailer — Kzrv · reported 1 Nov 2024 · 14 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

KZRV, L.P (KZRV) is recalling certain 2025 Sportsmen 303QBSE travel trailers. The driver's side door slide-out actuator is located too close to the tires, which can cause the actuator to contact the tire.

The risk

An actuator that contacts a tire can cause tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will install taller equalizer suspension components, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2024. Owners may contact KZRP customer service at 1-800-768-4016. KZRV's number for this recall is KZ-2024-001.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
