What's wrong

Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Clipper and Viking travel trailers. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The bottle bracket welds may break and cause the propane tank to detach from the vehicle.

The risk

A detached propane tank may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace the bottle bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 2, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-269-467-8283. Forest River's number for this recall is 121-1874.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.
