Recall 24V917000

Vehicle Speed Control › Throttle — Oshkosh · reported 10 Dec 2024 · 800 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh) is recalling certain 2022-2024 S-Series vehicles. The throttle pedal assembly may contain an oversized magnet carrier, slowing the responsiveness or causing the pedal to stick.

The risk

A pedal that sticks increases the risk of a crash.

The fix

Oshkosh will replace the throttle pedal, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Oshkosh customer service at 1-888-686-7278.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
