Recall 25V004000 · manufacturer campaign R25DH (NSB)

Electrical System › Wiring — Blue Bird · reported 8 Jan 2025 · 1 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling one 2025 All American transit bus. Due to incorrect wiring, the high and low beams are reversed, causing the high beam indicator to illuminate incorrectly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The risk

The operator may inadvertently activate the high beams, affecting the vision of other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters were mailed February 14, 2025. Owners may contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242. Blue Bird's number for this recall is R25DH (NSB).

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
