Air Bags › Air Bag/restraint Control Module › Software — Zeekr · reported 7 Feb 2025 · 1 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

Zeekr Technology US, LLC (Zeekr) is recalling one 2025 RT vehicle. The Occupant Weight Sensor (OWS) may misclassify the front passenger seat occupant or disable the air bag. As such, this vehicle fails to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

The risk

An air bag that deploys improperly or fails to deploy increases the risk of injury during a crash.

The fix

Zeekr will update the OWS software, free of charge. The vehicle was repaired February 23, 2025. Owners may contact Zeekr customer service at 1-212-481-2050.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
