Recall 25V074000

Service Brakes, Hydraulic › Foundation Components › Disc › Caliper — Gasgas, Husqvarna · reported 7 Feb 2025 · 5,116 vehicles potentially affected

What's wrong

KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Husqvarna FE 350s, FE 501s, and 2024-2025 GASGAS ES 350 and ES 500 motorcycles. The front brake caliper may crack in the area around the upper guide pin.

The risk

A broken front brake caliper can cause a loss of front brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.

The fix

Dealers will inspect and replace the front brake caliper, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2025. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.

Vehicles covered by this recall

Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
