Recall 25V147000
Structure › Body › Door › Handle › Exterior — Ineos · reported 6 Mar 2025 · 7,022 vehicles potentially affected
What's wrong
Ineos Automotive Americas, LLC (Ineos) is recalling certain 2024 Grenadier vehicles. The door button mechanism may have been assembled without a sufficient application of grease, preventing the door from fully latching.
The risk
An unlatched door can open unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix
Ineos will replace the door button assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 12, 2025. Owners may contact Ineos customer service at 1-833-494-4748.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or go to nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
