What's wrong
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2025 Keystone Kodiak, Colorado 260RBC, 270BHC, 280BHC, and Sunset travel trailers. The 7-way cord and 12-volt distribution box were wired incorrectly, resulting in wiring with insufficient surge protection.
The risk
Unprotected electrical wiring can overheat and increase the risk of a fire.
The fix
Dealers will repair the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 25, 2025. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 25-463.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or go to nhtsa.gov.
Vehicles covered by this recall
Whether a particular car is affected and still unrepaired depends on its VIN — a model year being listed does not mean every car of that year is included. Check any VIN free on CarLogs, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Is this car's recall fixed?
Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
