What's wrong

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 Super Duty F-250 and F-350 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V-507. The driver and front passenger windows may fail to detect an obstacle while closing and not reverse direction as intended.

The risk

A window that does not automatically reverse when an obstruction is encountered increases the risk of injury.

The fix

Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 18, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S25.

Is this car's recall fixed?

Recall repairs are free at any franchised dealer, for the life of the vehicle. A CarLogs report shows the recall status for a specific VIN as reported by the manufacturer — whether it's open or repaired, and whether the fix is available yet.
